MC4 Connectors

• Solar connectors, as their name suggests, are single contact electrical connectors, commonly used for connecting solar panel systems in series. They are easy to install, water-resistant, corrosion-resistant and cause less mechanical stress to the connected cable compared to their predecessors.

• Our MC4 solar connectors are suitable for cable cross section between 4-6mm, outer diameter 5.5-9mm. The tried and tested connection design is based on snap in locking. When the male and female connectors are pushed together, the fingers inside the female connector slide down until they reach a notch in the male connector. The finger ends then pop outwards to lock into position.

• MC4 Solar connectors can only be released using an MC4 spanner making them safe and reliable..
